Dual Degree Program

•  B.Tech in ICT - 4 years
• Dual Degree (B.Tech+ M.Tech) in ICT- 5 years

The Institute will offer a dual-degree program - a B.Tech. plus an M.Tech. at the end of five years - to students entering after class XII (or equivalent). As an exit option, after the first four years of study, students will be provided, with a B.Tech. degree. Specializations will be offered in terms of minors or majors.

Eligibility:  

• The admission procedure will be in accordance with the Admission Committee for
  Professional Courses (ACPC) Government of Gujarat norms (http://gujacpc.nic.in/)
  (A percentage of seats will be filled by candidates outside Gujarat, as per the norms of the Gujarat Admissions Committee for Professional Courses)

Salient features of the program:

IICT's innovative curriculum is a result of the need to create product innovators within the country, a need which has been identified and endorsed by top academicians, industry scions and scientists. The curriculum will adapt and improve each year in the pursuit of excellence. The first two and a half years of the curriculum will consist of core courses which will effectively combine the six branches of ICT education. Subsequently, students will be able to specialize in particular areas, some of which would be: Information Security, Data Analytics, Information Retrieval, Human Computer Interaction, Cloud Computing, Machine Learning, Bio-informatics, Bio-medical Instrumentation, Mobile Computing, Wireless & Mobile Communications, VLSI Design, Sensor Networks, etc.

• Multidisciplinary education- curriculum is a blend of Computer Science,
  Telecommunications  and Electronics, Product Design, HCI and Innovation, Sciences and Humanities

Fees

Caution Deposit  Rs. 10,000. (Refundable at graduation)

• Limited scholarships to be awarded to outstanding meritorious students to pursue education and research in renowned international institutes
