Shri Prafull Anubhai, is an educationist besides being a Corporate Advisor. He has been associated with IIMA for the last more than 40 years as Visiting Faculty and/or member on the Board of Governors. He is also a member of the Governing Council of AES (Ahmedabad Education Society) and on the Board of Directors of CSTEP (Centre for Science Technology and Policy).
He has 30 years of experience as a Chief Executive of Textile Manufacturing Operations and presently he is a Director in several leading companies - Unichem Laboratories Ltd., Vardhman Textiles Ltd., Birla Sun Life Trustee Co.Pvt. Ltd., GRUH Finance Ltd. (a subsidiary of HDFC Ltd.), Torrent Cables Ltd., The EMSAF – Mauritius (The Emerging Markets South Asian Fund). He also serves on boards of many other smaller companies.
Shri Prafull Anubhai has deep interest in Indian Classical Music. He is actively associated with organizing the best and the longest festival of Indian classical music – Saptak Annual Festival. Currently, he is also the Hon. Director of Saptak Archives, an institution dedicated to the preservation and dissemination of Indian Classical Music.

"Beyond the existing trend of excellence in Computer Science and Engineering we want to focus on providing the problem solving and systematic thinking skills to innovate cutting edge technological solutions which have sound societal relevance.
In the first place the school intends to address vast lacunae of knowledge driven industries and R&D labs that are needed in Gujarat to meet the needs of its rapidly growing economy and beyond that of the entire Indian economy. A brand new building designed by a renowned architect will house the new School and its world class labs"
